Our business was started in 2006 as a sole proprietorship under the name PC Medic Computer Services based out of Atlanta, MI. The owner, Brian Rogers, was a recent graduate from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, a Minor in Mathematics and also a secondary education certificate for the State of Michigan. After finding a full-time position back in his hometown of Atlanta, Brian formed the business to provide computer services to the local community and it was all done by word of mouth.
In 2010, the business was expanded and obtained a Sales Tax license to provide hardware and software sales to customers. The business started advertising and the client number increased. The business expanded and started supporting other residential and business customers within the community.
In the beginning of 2011, the sole proprietorship evolved into a Limited Liability Company (LLC) due to the volume of customers. Now the business operates as an LLC and the business volume is the highest we have ever seen.
Because the volume of business has increased we have now added credit card payments and remote support in 2012. We are always trying to improve our customer experiences and this is one that will be enjoyed by many.
